happy late one year anniversary!!

i just thought i would post a post (he he post a post ;)) to celebrate this blogs one year anniverserary. i must say that it doesnt even feel like its been a year. i bet nina never even reads it and i only post things for her but whatever i guess. im actually not that late on celebrating but this is just a special post devoted to my blog

school is starting in a week and i can assure you that the one and only singular reason i am going is....... sports. ok so theres other things like friends (i currently have very few) and SEMINARY!!!! yay i love seminary. i love learning about the gospel and sister roberts is an exquisite teacher. maybe ill even play the piano since i have been FORCED (ok maybe not) to play at mutual and church and temple trips. we also have a temple trip coming soon which i am currently very excited for. but other than those few highlights, things have been very boring

i have officialy decided that i was not happy for basketball to be over. i miss it sooo much. im gonna go crazy. i also miss my nephew and i havent even gotten to see any pictures lately because of SOMEONE. i dont want to say names or anything but it starts with a n and ends with a ina. so i really havent even had much going on. im in track and its going pretty good so i guess thats all

glad or sad?

basketball is over and im happy but im also very sad. we didnt make it to regionals which was a very sad experience but its nice coming home after school and having plenty of time to do my homework!! kj is going to regionals so tommorrow i am going to watch him and then ethan is coming shortly after that. oh and i guess nina and loren might be coming to but other than that ethan is coming. hehe just kiddin guys. im excited to go see how the boys will do and i havent traveled in a while so itll be nice. but other than that nothing is really going on until track starts so i dont have to much for now

To Ethan

this post is for my nephew ethan. and i know what your thinking but i dont care if he can read it yet or not! he will grow up sometime wether you like to think you like to think about it or not. im very glad that he has come to my family and i know that he and i will both go through many hard times because we are a part of the chosen generation. and if he ever gets sick of his mom and dad (no offense, i doubt he will) then he can call aunt leslie and i would be very happy to talk to him. nina, you better read this to him cause he and i have telepathetic connections and i know he will understand

Its been pretty busy around here lately with so many games to go to and all kinds of activities. i finally got my personal progress!! ive been working really hard on it and now i have plenty of time to get it twice especially with my parents pushing me so much. i havent decided yet if thats a good thing or a bad thing but im trying to deal with it. it might make me a better person in the long run so i guess its ok. i have another game today and we won last night so i wanted to update a little even though i havent had any decent pictures lately :)

i really felt bad for getting a b last quarter and i felt even worse that it was only 2 points away from an a but a really didnt like the pressure that they all put on me to get straight a's. i was really trying to concentrate on basketball too so it was extremely hard. but now i can work hard again without all the pressure. high school is way too much harder than middle school. its a difficult transition to get used to. that better be the right word to use

im on varsity!!! ive been working really hard in jv and stuff though so ya. i already have three quarters in varstiy so i might letter. its so hard playing in all four quarters of jv and then trying to work really hard in jv. i get tired a lot. that was the main thing i wanted to accomplish this basketball season. no teasing me about the pliable thing. if you werent so smart it wouldnt have mattered but no you just had to go and be a genius. grr. oh well i guess as long as im learning its ok. like in the scriptures it says your supposed to learn all you can a lot and usually the best way you learn is from your mistakes so im working on it
